Siste dagen for Lares Trek var såklart Machu Picchu (2430moh), endelig en drøm som gikk i oppfyllelse! Jeg trodde vi skulle gå opp Machu Picchu men neida her tok vi faktisk buss opp, like greit egentlig etter noen tøffe dager i fjellet. Vi fikk lære mye om sjølve Machu Picchu og resten av tiden gikk til å utforske sjølve fjellet før det var ned igjen og en lang busstur hjem til Cusco igjen.
The last day of Lares Trek was of course Machu Picchu (2430m), finally a dream coming true! I thought we where gonna hike up here but no, we actually took a bus opp, really didn’t mind it after some hard days in the mountains. We got to learn a lot about Machu Picchu and the rest of the time here we got to explore it on our self before we head back down, to the bus and back home to Cusco.
